Private Health Insurance Options with Invozio: Comprehensive Coverage Beyond Försäkringskassan
A health insurance plan is an important complement to the general sickness benefits provided by Försäkringskassan. Compensation is paid out after a 90-day waiting period, every month, and for as long as the sick leave lasts. Through Invozio, you can take out private health insurance with the same compensation level as the ITP plan for salaried employees. Comprehensive Health Insurance: Financial Security and Support for Long-Term Illness
With this health insurance, you can feel secure knowing that you will receive financial compensation in case of long-term illness. Compensation is paid out monthly as long as you receive benefits from the Social Insurance Agency, up to the age of 67. The compensation is based on your salary and is similar to that provided under ITP (i.e., the collective agreement for salaried employees). The insurance also offers the opportunity for rehabilitative assistance and preventive health services at no cost.
